Having stayed at Alcan Motor Inn multiple times, I can confidently say it's become a go-to spot for us. the rooms are cozy and thoughtfully designed, with plush towels and a comfortable bed ensuring a restful night's sleep. the welcoming atmosphere and convenient amenities, like the in-room coffee machine and free toiletries, make it feel like a home away from home. While the lack of breakfast wasn't a deal-breaker for us, the nearby gas station offered a delightful surprise with its delicious food and espresso bar. the central location of the inn was ideal for our road trip, providing easy access to explore the surrounding areas, like Kathleen Lake just a short drive away. Although we didn't have the chance to experience the spa bath or other luxurious room features, the overall attention to detail in the rooms, from the tasteful decor to the cozy seating area, left a lasting impression. In conclusion, Alcan Motor Inn offers a comfortable and convenient stay, perfect for weary travelers seeking a restful retreat. the thoughtful touches and welcoming atmosphere make it a hidden gem in the heart of the Canadian wilderness, and I look forward to our next visit, perhaps with a special someone to share in the tranquility and charm of this secluded spot.
